BIOGRAPHY: The german electronic music project M/A/T was founded in 2022 by Matthias Bischoff. He is a founding member of the former SynthPop/EBM band Cyber and has been active as a DJ for many years. The first M/A/T EP entitled “Jupiter” was released in September 2022. This was released digitally and also in a limited vinyl edition. The 5-track EP also includes the single release “Das Fundament”: a song that has become a long-term club hit in the synth scene and which, in addition to a #3 placement in the German Alternative Charts, is played by national and international DJs in the relevant dark disco clubs from Hamburg to Berlin to London and Los Angeles.

JAN 26: M/A/T release their new single “Galaktika” (listen & buy) as another preview of the upcoming M/A/T debut album “Elektra”, which is expected to be released between April and May 2026 (Digital & Vinyl). The accompanying music video was produced by Dutch AI/video artist ALFfx and can now be viewed on YouTube (here). With this dark electro/synthpop track carried by a vocoder voice, it was obvious to have the song remixed by METROLAND. The Belgians have already remixed bands such as Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark and Progaganda in recent years. The result is a 5:54 version with a futuristic sound, called metroland's cosmic pulse
